Happy St. Patrick’s Day

This clocktower in downtown Denver was built as part of the Daniels & Fisher department store in 1910. At the time, it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi River at 325 feet. The department store was demolished in 1971, and the tower was renovated into lofts and businesses a decade later. Denver lights it up green around St. Patrick’s Day. I photographed it from the top of a nearby parking structure. www.thomaspeipert.com
